Where Motorfy is live
Currently live in Auckland, Tauranga, Mt Maunganui and expanding. Drivers in these areas describe a job in the app, workshops send quotes, and the driver compares what comes back before choosing one.
That is the model we want to bring to more places, and it only works if local workshops are part of it. If you run a workshop in Auckland, Tauranga or Mt Maunganui, you can list now and requests from local drivers arrive in your portal.

Why local workshops matter
Drivers tend to prefer a workshop that is close to home or work, because dropping a car off and collecting it is far easier when it is nearby. A comparison is only useful when it includes real local options, which is why we ask workshops in each new area to join.
It also works the other way. A garage or tyre shop that is already on Motorfy is ready when drivers in its area start asking for quotes, rather than being found later by accident.
The businesses we would like to hear from
- Mechanics and general workshops doing WOFs, servicing, brakes and repairs
- Tyre shops fitting tyres and doing wheel alignment
- Wrap and tint shops
- Detailers
- Panel and paint businesses, and other automotive specialists
Anything automotive can be listed. If you work on cars, Motorfy can bring you customers.
How a workshop joins
Joining is free, and being listed does not oblige you to take any particular job. You stay responsible for the licences or certification your work needs, and for your own tax and GST, as you would in any business.
