How a job works
You see the whole job before you quote, and the driver has paid before the car arrives.
A request arrives
A driver near you posts a job. You get the vehicle, the work needed and any photos, in the portal and as a notification. If it doesn't suit, decline it with no penalty.
You send a price
All the details are in front of you, so the quote is accurate the first time. Set your own price and your earliest slot, and send it in a couple of taps.
Sort the details in chat
Message the driver directly to confirm anything before or after they accept. No phone tag, and the whole conversation stays with the job.
Booked, done, paid
Accepted jobs drop straight into your schedule. The driver paid when they accepted, so once you mark the job complete it goes into your next fortnightly payout.

The driver picks a service or types the problem in their own words, adds their car and any photos, and Motorfy sends it to workshops like yours nearby.

They compare quotes and accept
Your price, earliest slot and reviews sit next to the other quotes, with a chat button if they have questions. Once they accept, they pay in the app. Motorfy holds the money and releases it to you when you mark the job complete.

Questions workshops ask
How do I receive job requests?
Drivers post a job in the Motorfy app and choose up to four workshops to quote. If you're one of them, the details arrive in your portal with a notification. You reply with a price and the driver picks the quote they want.
Can I set my own prices?
Yes. You set every quote yourself. Motorfy never dictates what you charge.
How does Motorfy make money?
Motorfy adds a small service fee on top of your quote, paid by the driver. It covers transaction costs and running the platform. You receive the full amount you quoted.
How do drivers pay?
Drivers pay through Motorfy when they accept a quote. The money is held until you mark the job complete, then it's included in your next fortnightly payout.
Can I decline a job?
Yes. If a job doesn't fit your schedule or your skills, decline it. There's no penalty.
What if the job needs more work than I quoted?
Not yet, but it's coming very soon. Adding to a quote after the car is on the hoist is one of the next things we're releasing. In the meantime, agree the extra work with the driver in chat and charge for it through your usual process.
Is the AI quoting live?
Not yet. Today you write your own quotes in the portal. Motorfy AI is in development and will draft each quote for you to approve, using your rates and parts from suppliers on Motorfy. Workshops already listed will get it first.
What kinds of services can I list?
Anything automotive: mechanical repairs, WOF and servicing, tyres, tinting, detailing, wraps, panel work and more. If you work on cars, Motorfy can bring you customers.

Questions parts suppliers ask
Who can become a parts supplier on Motorfy?
Any parts business - OEM, aftermarket, tyres, batteries, brakes and more. There's no minimum size and no exclusivity by category or region, and tyres going live first doesn't mean other categories have to wait to register.
How do I connect my stock and pricing?
However works for you - a live API, EDI or punchout, a spreadsheet you send on your own schedule, or entering it directly in the Motorfy portal. We work directly with your team to set up whichever fits your systems.
Do I need to change how I run my business?
No. Motorfy is built to plug into your existing setup rather than asking you to switch systems. If you can tell us what you stock and at what price, we can connect it.
How does pricing work?
You set your own prices and margins. Motorfy doesn't set or take a cut of what you charge for parts.
How do I get paid?
The same fortnightly payout model as workshops - payment is held until the order is confirmed delivered, then included in your next payout.
