How can we help?
Answers for drivers and workshops, and a real person if you need one.
Questions drivers ask
Is Motorfy free to use?
Yes, it's completely free for drivers. Motorfy adds a small service fee only when you accept a quote, and every workshop is checked before it can quote.
How many quotes will I get?
Up to four, from vetted workshops near you. Quotes come back in about 3 hours on average.
What if I'm not sure what's wrong with my car?
Just describe the problem in your own words - Motorfy's matching works out which kind of workshop should see it. You don't need to know the exact fix before you ask.
How do I pay?
You pay in the app when you accept a quote. Motorfy holds the payment and releases it to the workshop once the job is marked complete.
Can I ask the workshop questions before I book?
Yes. Chat with the workshop directly in the app before or after you accept a quote.
What can I request a quote for?
WOF and servicing, brakes, tyres and wheel alignment, mechanical repairs, diagnostics and warning lights, batteries, air conditioning, window tinting, vinyl wraps, detailing, and panel and paint. Not sure what it's called? Just describe it.
Questions workshops ask
How do I receive job requests?
Drivers post a job in the Motorfy app and choose up to four workshops to quote. If you're one of them, the details arrive in your portal with a notification. You reply with a price and the driver picks the quote they want.
Can I set my own prices?
Yes. You set every quote yourself. Motorfy never dictates what you charge.
How does Motorfy make money?
Motorfy adds a small service fee on top of your quote, paid by the driver. It covers transaction costs and running the platform. You receive the full amount you quoted.
How do drivers pay?
Drivers pay through Motorfy when they accept a quote. The money is held until you mark the job complete, then it's included in your next fortnightly payout.
Can I decline a job?
Yes. If a job doesn't fit your schedule or your skills, decline it. There's no penalty.
Where do I get more help?
Use the contact options below, or read the full help guide. There's also a longer workshop FAQ on the main workshops page.
