Sell parts to NZ workshops: register your interest
Want to sell parts to NZ workshops without chasing each one separately? Motorfy is building a way to connect parts suppliers with the workshops already using the platform. It is not live yet, and registering your interest is the first step.
Not live yet. Registering your interest costs nothing.
Sell parts to NZ workshops: what we are building
Motorfy is connecting its workshop network to parts suppliers. The aim is that orders come from real jobs, with the vehicle and the job attached, rather than from a vague phone call or an email that has to be decoded.
We are not asking suppliers to learn a new way of working. The goal is to plug into how you already manage stock and pricing.
Who can register
Any parts business can register its interest: OEM, aftermarket, tyres, batteries, brakes and more. There is no minimum size, and no exclusivity by category or region.
Tyres are the first category we are connecting. That does not mean other categories have to wait before getting in touch.
Connect the way you already work
- Plug into your systems, such as a live API, EDI or punchout, or the inventory software you already run.
- Send a spreadsheet or price list on whatever schedule suits you.
- Manage stock and pricing directly in the Motorfy portal, and move to a deeper link later if you want to.
Whichever suits you, we work directly with your team to set it up. Motorfy is built to fit around your existing setup rather than asking you to switch systems.
Where this stands today
Supplier ordering on Motorfy is not live yet. We are onboarding the first suppliers now, starting with tyres. The intention is that you set your own prices and margins, as you do today.
Nothing here is a promise of a particular feature or date. It is an honest description of what we are working on, and we would like to build it with suppliers who tell us what would actually be useful.
Why suppliers look at workshop platforms
Workshops order parts all day, by phone, email, at the trade counter or through supplier portals. Suppliers generally prefer orders that arrive with clear information, because it cuts the back and forth, the wrong-part returns and the time spent on the phone.
A platform that already knows the car and the job is one way to get there. If that sounds useful, tell us about it.
What to include when you get in touch
Tell us what you supply, how you manage stock and pricing today, and the easiest way to reach your team. If you supply tyres, see our page for tyre suppliers for NZ workshops. If you also run a workshop, you can get more workshop jobs through Motorfy too.
