1. What Happens If More Work Is Needed? How Can We Charge More?
At the moment, Motorfy does not have a feature that allows you to quote or invoice for additional work beyond what was originally agreed upon. However, you can allocate extra time in your schedule for the additional work. For now, we recommend handling extra charges through your existing payment systems and processes.
2. How Does Motorfy Make Money?
Motorfy adds a small service fee on top of your quoted price. This means you keep 100% of the amount you quote, and the customer pays a small additional fee. This service fee covers transaction costs and helps us continue improving and maintaining the platform. This model is widely used by platforms like Uber Eats, Booking.com, and others.
3. What Type Of Services Are Available On Motorfy?
Motorfy supports a wide range of automotive services, including but not limited to window tinting, mechanical repairs, detailing, tyre services, and more. If you provide an automotive-related service, chances are Motorfy can help you connect with customers.
4. How Do I Receive Job Requests?
Customers submit their requests through the Motorfy app, selecting up to four businesses to receive quotes from. If chosen, you’ll receive a notification with the job details via your online portal, where you can respond with your quote. The customer then selects the provider they prefer.
5. Can I Set My Own Prices?
Yes, you have full control over your pricing. Motorfy does not dictate how much you should charge; we simply add our service fee on top of your quote so that you receive the full amount you set.
6. How Do Customers Pay For Services?
Customers pay directly through the Motorfy platform at the time of booking. To ensure security for both providers and customers, Motorfy holds the payment until the job is marked as complete by the business. Once completed, the payment is included in the business’s bi-weekly payout cycle.
7. Can I Decline A Job Request?
Yes, you are not obligated to accept every job request. If a job doesn’t fit your schedule or expertise, you can decline it without penalty.
